For us, the gallery is a way to capture the invisible harmony that unites the search for truth in science and art. In the interiors renovated by Orchestra Design, we strive to create projects that match the scale of thought of the people working at JINR. This is an invitation to take part in a dialogue that requires no translation.
In the International Conference Centre, where representatives of different countries and cultures meet, the Gallery assumes the role of a connecting link, so that dialogue in the universal language of images gives birth to new meanings based on our common need to understand the world.
Why does
science turn to art?
Located in the historical heart of Dubna, the Gallery inherits the city's calm rhythm. We strive to make seeing the exhibition a natural part of a walk or a work day, helping visitors to switch the focus of attention for a moment and find inspiration in the silence of the visual series.

The team of the Orchestra Design architectural bureau worked on the creation of the gallery. The main challenge of the project was to preserve the unique identity of the building while designing a functional and aesthetically clean environment. Careful work with materials, light, and the rhythm of modernist interiors allowed the architects to create a space that does not dominate the viewer's attention, but emphasises the value of each exhibit.

The International Conference Centre of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research has always been more than just a platform for discussions; it is a symbol of an era when large-scale scientific tasks required a commensurate architectural environment. Today, the building takes on a new dimension – the JINR Gallery.
